At Integrative Health Partners, we believe you can achieve and maintain optimum health. By following a whole-istic approach, a healthy balance can be established within all body systems, increasing your overall level of function. In our approach the practitioner and patient partner together to reach common goals. When you are an active participant in your own plan of care, your results will be significantly different than if you just rely on someone else to make you well.
At our core we are strongly aligned with the healing wisdom of classical Chinese medicine. However, in addition to offering traditional services such as acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, we also take advantage of modern evaluation and treatment modalities including laboratory analysis, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle counseling, and more. In essence, we offer an integrative functional medicine approach that uses the best of traditional and modern insights to maximize health.
Promoting True Health
Many people consider themselves “healthy” just because they don’t have what is considered to be a significant medical condition. However, many of these same people struggle with persistent fatigue, cough, indigestion, constipation, headaches, sleep disturbance, and more. Although these conditions are often considered sub-clinical or nuisance conditions, from a whole-istic perspective they are the tip of an iceberg that indicates an underlying imbalance that will eventually lead to chronic health issues. True health is a condition where all the body’s systems are working at optimum performance and in balance with each other. This functional balance results in a state of vitality free from chronic conditions. The goal of Functional Medicine is to bring the body back into balance and keep it there, preventing the chronic degenerative conditions that are so prevalent in our population.
